Unarmed Guard - Security (Casual) - Herat and Kunduz

About the role

Etisalat Afghanistan, a subsidiary of Etisalat UAE, is hiring a casual unarmed guard for security duties in Herat and Kunduz. The role covers access control, patrols and reporting of security incidents, working on rotational day and night shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to company premises, allowing only authorized personnel, contractors and visitors.
• Verify IDs of employees, visitors and contractors and keep entry and exit logs.
• Patrol the premises regularly to detect unauthorized activity and check doors, gates, windows and restricted areas.
• Monitor security systems and report suspicious behaviour, incidents or breaches to the security supervisor or control room.
• Prepare daily security reports covering theft, asset damage, unauthorized access and safety hazards.
• Coordinate with the security control room and emergency services during incidents such as fires, security breaches or threats to telecom infrastructure.
• Operate security screening and detection equipment to prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
• Support the protection of sensitive telecommunications equipment, data rooms and power systems.
• Follow company security policies, safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

Required profile

• High school graduate.
• One year of relevant experience.
