Senior Visualisation Associate – ACDMS

About the role

The Senior Visualisation Associate – ACDMS will support the development and maintenance of a unified dashboard ecosystem for IOM Afghanistan programmes. Working under the Senior Programme Coordinator and supervising the Data Analysis and Visualisation Officer, the role ensures consistent visualisation standards and reduces duplication across programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead dashboard harmonisation and consolidation across programme portfolios, ensuring consistency of indicators, definitions and visualisation approaches.
• Develop, maintain and improve ACDMS dashboards, handling day‑to‑day technical delivery, performance and usability.
• Support the creation and upkeep of CO‑wide visual identity, branding and UX/UI standards for dashboards.
• Translate operational requirements from programme managers into practical visualisation products and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain integration of dashboards with ACDMS databases, APIs and other data sources, coordinating with database and developer staff.
• Review indicators, calculations and visual outputs for accuracy and quality, applying QA standards.
• Develop automated reporting solutions, executive dashboards and management tools to improve efficiency.
• Provide user support, training and guidance materials to promote effective adoption of visualisation products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Visualisation, Information Management, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, GIS, Economics or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with seven years of experience.
• Experience in humanitarian or development programmes is an advantage.
