About the role

Join Aecon International as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor and work alongside experienced professionals to manage project costs, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards on complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project development to align with schedules and budgets.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and assist in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Process interim applications, variations, and final accounts, ensuring timely submission.
• Collect records to verify payments, defend subcontractor claims, and mitigate commercial risks.
• Participate in weekly financial forecasting and prepare cost estimates.
• Maintain records of contract variations and generate profitability reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering (2:2 or higher preferred).
• Full driver’s licence preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
