About the role
The Safeguarding‑Behaviour Intake Coordinator will be based in Kabul and will serve as the main link between Médecins Sans Frontières programmes and the Behaviour and Safeguarding units across the organisation’s Operational Centres. The role operates in a highly sensitive environment, requiring careful handling of investigations related to sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment and other workplace misconduct.
Key responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison to ensure consistent follow‑up and closure of safeguarding cases across all Operational Centres.
- Coordinate with the Safeguarding Coordinator, HR Coordinator, programme heads and project coordinators to align investigations with operational priorities.
- Supervise and monitor the work plan of any team members assigned to the intake function.
- Report to the Country Representative (hierarchical) and to the Intersectional Platform on Behaviour (functional) through the OCB Case Management Manager.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with MSF safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Rights, HR, Law, Business Economics, Accountancy, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Certification as an investigator (e.g., CHS Tier 3, CFE, CFF, CPA, CCEP) is mandatory.
- Minimum three years of experience conducting international administrative investigations, preferably in the humanitarian sector.
- Previous experience with MSF or another INGO is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated experience investigating SEAH, abusive conduct and other workplace misconduct.
