Supervisor – Healthcare Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor to manage daily operations within assigned units of Basit Speciality Hospital in Kabul. The role combines on‑site oversight with the flexibility to work from home, ensuring patient services and administrative processes run smoothly and align with hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff schedules and monitor performance to meet service standards.
• Support adherence to clinical, safety and quality protocols.
• Resolve operational issues and improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative teams, prepare basic reports and communicate updates to management.
• Guide team members, assist with training and foster a respectful, inclusive workplace.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising teams in a healthcare or service‑focused environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, including scheduling and task prioritization.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clinical and non‑clinical staff.
• Basic understanding of hospital procedures, patient service standards and safety guidelines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in management, healthcare administration or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office tools such as email, spreadsheets and documentation software.
• Ability to prepare simple reports and maintain accurate records.
