Senior Business Development Executive

About the role

Karlatoon is an innovative online platform that connects employers, job seekers, freelancers, and businesses. We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to expand our client base, forge strategic partnerships, and increase market presence across corporate, educational, and non‑profit sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate clients, employers, educational institutions, NGOs, and business partners.
• Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email campaigns and other channels.
• Present Karlatoon’s products and services in meetings, presentations and demos.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and partnership agreements.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
• Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and industry trends.
• Prepare business proposals, quotations and partnership presentations.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to shape growth strategies.
• Represent Karlatoon at networking events, exhibitions, conferences and job fairs.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activities in CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Sales, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, B2B sales or account management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, networking and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dari and/or Pashto preferred.

• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
