Zonal Manager

About the role

Omaid Bahar Fruit Processing Ltd., Afghanistan’s first fruit processing factory, is seeking a Zonal Manager to lead operations, sales and performance in an assigned zone. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Kabul and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the zone’s operations, sales activities and overall performance.
• Manage and support a team to achieve defined sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth within the zone.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as production, logistics and finance.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in territory or zonal management, strategic planning and business development.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder‑relationship skills.
• Solid sales, marketing and customer‑retention expertise.
• Ability to analyse market trends, prepare reports and execute action plans.
• Organizational, decision‑making and multitasking capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Working knowledge of local and international market dynamics; English fluency; regional language knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with the agribusiness or fruit‑processing sector is advantageous.
