About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Planning & Monitoring Specialist on a fixed‑term basis to support programme planning, monitoring and evidence‑based decision‑making across its operations in Afghanistan.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning and monitoring of UNICEF programmes in Mazar‑i‑Sharif, Jalalabad and Kabul.
- Contribute to evidence‑based planning and accountability processes.
- Coordinate with sector and cluster groups (Nutrition, WASH, Education, Child Protection) to improve service delivery.
- Assist in inter‑agency coordination platforms and reporting.
- Provide analytical support for humanitarian and basic human needs programming.

- Open to Afghan nationals only.
