Permanent Lecturer, Department of Electronics

About the role

Mustaqbal University, Faculty of Engineering, is seeking a qualified Lecturer for its Department of Electronics. The department covers electronic systems, circuit design, digital and analog electronics and related technologies. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses
• Prepare instructional materials
• Conduct laboratory sessions
• Assess student performance and maintain academic records
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic research and student mentorship
• Uphold the university's academic standards, professional ethics and Ministry of Higher Education regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a closely related field from a recognised university
• Degrees and documents must be officially attested by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan
• 2-4 years of relevant teaching or academic experience preferred
• Ability to work professionally with faculty, university management and students

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, digital and analog electronics, microprocessors and related engineering principles
• Excellent teaching, communication, presentation and classroom management skills
• Ability to prepare lesson plans, lectures, laboratory exercises, assignments and examinations
• Research skills and the ability to publish scholarly work are preferred
