Permanent Lecturer, Business Administration (BBA)

About the role

The Faculty of Business Administration at Mustaqbal University, a private higher education institution founded in 2014 and registered with the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, is seeking a qualified Lecturer to teach Business Administration and related disciplines. The post is permanent and covers undergraduate courses.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses using effective, student-centered methods and ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Prepare lesson plans, lectures, assignments, quizzes, case studies, presentations and examinations, and evaluate them.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and take part in academic and faculty meetings.
• Carry out academic and applied research, develop research proposals, publish scholarly work and mentor students.
• Maintain classroom discipline and uphold academic standards and professional ethics in line with university policy and Ministry of Higher Education regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a closely related field from a recognized institution, attested by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan.
• Preferred: 2-4 years of relevant teaching and academic experience in Business Administration or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Business Administration principles, theories and current developments.
• Demonstrated interest in research and publication in recognized academic journals.

Required skills

• Excellent teaching, presentation, communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work professionally with faculty, university management, students and other stakeholders.
