About the role

The Afghan Midwives Association is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain a hygienic environment in its Kabul facilities. This full‑time, 12‑month contract role supports the health‑care mission by ensuring clean and safe spaces for staff and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, mop and wax various floor types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops and furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste disposal.
• Wash and dry windows.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, report breakages and needed repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑4 years of proven experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
