Programme Associate – Integrated Programming Unit

About the role

UN Women is seeking a Programme Associate to support the Integrated Programming Unit (IPU) in Kabul, Afghanistan. The role contributes to the development and implementation of programmes that address violence against women, humanitarian action, and economic empowerment, ensuring alignment with UN Women policies and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational, administrative and programmatic support to the IPU team.
• Assist in research and analysis for programme design, monitoring and evaluation.
• Support financial management tasks, including budgeting, tracking and donor reporting.
• Coordinate with sub‑offices, implementing partners and technical specialists to ensure coherent programme delivery.
• Contribute to the preparation of integrated proposals and project documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with UN Women rules, regulations and donor requirements.
