Vaccinator – Immunization Services

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a dedicated Vaccinator to deliver immunization services to target populations in both fixed health facilities and outreach sites. You will play a critical role in supporting the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and ensuring communities receive life‑saving vaccines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immunization services according to the national schedule at health facilities and outreach locations.
• Maintain cold‑chain integrity by monitoring vaccine refrigerator temperatures and following EPI standards.
• Register and document all vaccination activities, prepare monthly reports, and contribute data to HMIS.
• Develop and execute outreach plans, participating in National Immunization Days and other campaigns.
• Store, protect, and manage vaccines and related equipment while adhering to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards.
• Deliver health education sessions and promote routine immunization services within the community.
• Collaborate with health‑facility staff, other departments, and community partners to ensure a welcoming environment for clients.
