About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated RH Officer to strengthen reproductive health services across its health facilities and community platforms. The role focuses on clinical quality assurance, supportive supervision, capacity building, and community engagement to ensure rights‑based, client‑centered care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct monthly supportive supervision visits to health facilities and Family Health Houses using IRC checklists to assess clinical quality, counselling, eligibility screening, infection prevention, documentation, commodity management, and protocol adherence.
- Provide on‑site coaching to midwives and community health workers, monitor competency in reproductive health and family planning service delivery, and ensure compliance with programme standards.
- Review clinical records, maintain performance trackers, and produce timely reports highlighting gaps, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Serve as an IRC Master Trainer, delivering rights‑based family planning and reproductive health trainings, coordinating logistics, and verifying competency of newly recruited staff.
- Monitor community engagement activities, including FHAG dialogues, CHW household outreach, and RCCE initiatives, to improve health‑seeking behaviours and identify barriers.
- Conduct counselling quality assessments through client exit interviews, direct observation, and supportive supervision to ensure respectful, client‑centered services.
Required profile
- Experience in clinical supervision, reproductive health, or family planning within humanitarian or NGO settings.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing data, generating reports, and tracking performance.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities to work with midwives, CHWs, and community partners.
- Commitment to rights‑based, gender‑sensitive service delivery.
