Information Management Officer – Beneficiary Data

About the role

The Information Management Officer (Beneficiary Data) will provide technical and operational support to the Project Management Unit (PMU) on all beneficiary data issues. The role is central to managing data analytics and information systems for Humanitarian Cash Transfer (HCT) and Incentive Payments projects in Afghanistan.

Key responsibilities

• Support the PMU in the design, implementation and monitoring of beneficiary data processes.
• Manage data analytics and information systems required for cash transfer and incentive payment programmes.
• Facilitate effective programme operations by strengthening data management processes.
• Promote evidence‑based decision‑making across the PMU and Programme Sections.
• Coordinate with the Cash and Incentives Team and Beneficiary Data Management Team to ensure data quality and timely reporting.

Required profile

• Afghan national (position open to nationals of Afghanistan only).
• Experience in information management, data analytics and beneficiary data systems within humanitarian or cash‑transfer programmes.
• Ability to work under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist (Beneficiary Data).
• Strong understanding of cash transfer, incentive payments and humanitarian programme contexts.
