Healthcare Volunteer – Academic Support

About the role

Ghalib University is seeking an on‑site Healthcare Volunteer to support its medical and related faculties. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in an academic healthcare environment while contributing to student learning and community health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff and healthcare teams with basic clinical tasks under supervision.
• Support patient intake, documentation, and health education activities.
• Prepare materials for practical sessions and help organize laboratory spaces.
• Guide students during hands‑on learning activities and ensure safety and ethical standards are followed.
• Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to coordinate workshops, seminars, and outreach programs.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge in healthcare or related fields (medicine, nursing, public health, allied health).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse students, staff, and community members.
• Organizational ability to manage educational materials and assist with event coordination.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and adherence to institutional and cultural guidelines.
• Proficiency in local languages; English language skills are a plus.
