About the role
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director of Programs, you will lead the development and implementation of grants management processes across the entire project cycle in Afghanistan.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate high‑quality proposal development with program and operations teams and support the funding strategy.
- Manage all internal and external reporting processes and engage with donors to maintain strong, long‑term relationships.
- Oversee the grants team, building capacity of staff and partners, and provide strategic oversight of partnership and localisation activities.
Required profile
- University degree in fundraising, public relations, communications, development, humanitarian aid or international relations.
- At least 5 years of experience in humanitarian or development fundraising from institutional donors, preferably with INGOs.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and lead a team effectively.
Required skills
- Drafting and compiling project proposals.
- Budget monitoring and grant management.
- Narrative and financial reporting for a variety of donors.
