Education Officer

About the role

The Education Officer provides technical and operational support to implementing partners in the province, monitors project activities, and ensures safe partnership practices.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support partner staff at provincial and district level, including distribution of Teaching and Learning Material kits.
• Review and finalize teachers' payroll, update work plans, progress reports and the Indicator Performance Tracking Table.
• Conduct field visits, collect data on project progress, and maintain up‑to‑date project documentation and tracking systems.
• Facilitate Training of Trainers sessions with partners and ensure the Education Project Tracking System is current.

Required profile

• University degree in education, social science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience as an Education Officer, Trainer, Teacher Trainer or Capacity Building Officer in the NGO sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Responsible, reliable, punctual and able to multitask under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with databases.
• Strong training delivery abilities.
