Critical Care Nursing Program Manager

About the role

The Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering educational programs and courses related to critical care nursing. This role combines classroom teaching, clinical instruction, curriculum development, and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops on critical care nursing competencies.
• Provide hands‑on clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in critical care settings.
• Collaborate with the department head and faculty to design, implement, and update curriculum materials.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and program effectiveness.
• Build capacity of junior instructors and clinical preceptors in critical care nursing.
• Propose advancements in critical care nursing and integrate relevant updates into the curriculum.
• Engage in research activities and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative duties.
• Monitor program quality, prepare for external assessments, and ensure compliance.
• Maintain filing systems, prepare reports, and oversee documentation related to the program.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• Valid nursing license and relevant certifications in critical care nursing.
• Minimum two years of clinical practice in critical care nursing.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience in a healthcare education setting (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and lifelong learning.
