Video Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking detail‑oriented Video Annotators to support a Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) dataset project. The work is fully remote and involves watching short video clips of physical tasks and creating step‑by‑step, natural‑language annotations that describe each action.

Key responsibilities

• Watch each assigned video in its entirety to understand the overall task.
• Segment videos into discrete, logical steps by identifying clear action boundaries.
• Write concise, grammatically correct instructions for every segment, maintaining consistent tense and tone.
• Assign accurate start and end timestamps for each segment.
• Flag videos that are unclear, corrupted, or mislabeled.
• Participate in calibration sessions and apply reviewer feedback.
• Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets while preserving data confidentiality.

Required profile

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to notice subtle visual changes.
• Strong written communication skills for precise, action‑oriented descriptions.
• Ability to work independently following detailed guidelines.
• Reliable internet connection and a computer with a modern browser.

Required skills

• Familiarity with video annotation platforms such as CVAT, Label Studio, or Scale.
