Structural Drafter

About the role

North Corps Architectural & Engineering Co. is seeking a full‑time Structural Drafter to work on‑site in Kabul. The role involves preparing accurate structural shop drawings and technical documentation under the guidance of engineers and architects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update structural shop drawings, plans, sections and details using CAD and BIM tools.
• Coordinate drawing revisions with architectural and engineering teams to ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.
• Develop and maintain 3D models and drawing sets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the review process by incorporating feedback and ensuring consistency across all documentation.
• Maintain organized drawing archives and manage multiple revisions simultaneously.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of structural engineering principles applicable to building design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage several drawings and revisions at once.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on‑site in Kabul.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM tools for structural drafting.
• Familiarity with structural drafting standards and conventions.
