Information Management Officer – Beneficiary Data (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Information Management Officer will provide technical and operational support to the Project Management Unit (PMU) on all beneficiary data matters. This fixed‑term position focuses on managing data analytics and information systems for Humanitarian Cash Transfer and incentive payment projects in Afghanistan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to the PMU on beneficiary data issues.
• Manage data analytics and information systems for Humanitarian Cash Transfer (HCT) and incentive payment programmes.
• Support the implementation of cash transfer programmes, including monthly incentives for frontline service providers and emergency cash assistance.
• Strengthen data management processes and ensure accurate beneficiary data handling.
• Facilitate evidence‑based decision‑making across the PMU and programme sections.
• Coordinate with programme sections to align data requirements with operational needs.

Required profile

• Experience in information management and data analytics within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Familiarity with beneficiary data management for cash transfer programmes.
• Ability to work closely with the PMU and programme teams.
• Afghan national, as the role is open to nationals of Afghanistan only.
