Education Officer

About the role

The Education Officer provides technical and operational support to implementing partners in the education programme, monitoring activities and ensuring quality delivery at provincial and district levels.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support partner staff work at provincial and district levels.
• Oversee distribution of Teaching and Learning Material (TLM) kits.
• Review and finalize teachers' payroll.
• Prepare bi‑weekly and monthly work plans, progress reports and update the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT).
• Support MEAL team in Post Distribution Monitoring and maintain the Education Project Tracking System (EPTS).
• Facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions with partners at national and sub‑national levels.

Required profile

• University degree in education, social science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience as Education Officer, Trainer or Capacity Building Officer in the NGO sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with database management.
• Strong training delivery abilities.
