Programme Associate (G-6) – Full Time – Kabul

About the role

The Programme Associate provides specialised programme and administrative support to the Deputy Representative (Programmes) in Kabul. Working closely with internal and external partners, the incumbent helps ensure that UNICEF’s programmes are planned, implemented and monitored effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of programme activities.
• Conduct data analysis, track budgets and prepare regular reports.
• Coordinate with internal units and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with UNICEF policies.
• Support the preparation of programme documents, proposals and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the office’s knowledge management system.

Required profile

• Open to Afghan nationals only.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to UNICEF’s core values and the rights of children.
