Gender Responsive WASH Program Manager (F/M) – Kabul

About the role

Solidarités International is seeking a Gender Responsive WASH Program Manager to lead a strategic assessment and quality initiative that strengthens the meaningful inclusion of women in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programming across its operations in Afghanistan. The role is based in Kabul and will start on 1 October 2026 for a six‑month mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a gender‑responsive assessment framework for WASH projects.
• Oversee technical assessments, generate evidence, analyse data and produce operational recommendations.
• Coordinate technical engagement with implementing partners, donors and relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure delivery of agreed objectives, work plans and budgets while maintaining high programme quality.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with national and international team members and consortium partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing WASH programmes, preferably with a focus on gender inclusion.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for multi‑partner environments.
• Ability to work in challenging humanitarian contexts and adapt to evolving field conditions.
