Communications Consultant – EU Donor Visibility Campaign

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Communications Consultant to lead its EU Donor Visibility Campaign, a joint initiative with the European Union aimed at showcasing the humanitarian impact of EU‑funded assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Project Lead for the visibility campaign, overseeing all phases from planning to execution.
• Coordinate a public exhibition in two European capitals to bring the crisis realities to European audiences.
• Manage a geo‑targeted digital campaign designed to extend reach and increase exhibition attendance.
• Collaborate closely with EU and WFP teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with humanitarian objectives.
• Monitor campaign performance, collect data on reach and attendance, and produce regular reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, public relations or similar fields.
• Experience managing visibility or awareness campaigns, preferably in a donor or humanitarian context.
• Familiarity with the European Union donor environment and humanitarian operations.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and diverse settings.
