Volunteer Graphic Designer for TEDx Event

About the role

The Graphic Designer (Volunteer) will create visual assets that support the branding and communication of TEDxShar e Naw across digital and print channels. This remote, volunteer position offers flexibility while requiring reliable online collaboration and adherence to deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Design graphics for social media, presentations, and event materials.
• Develop layouts for posters, banners, programs, and other print collateral.
• Maintain consistent use of brand elements and visual identity.
• Collaborate with organizers, speakers, and fellow volunteers to translate concepts into engaging visuals.
• Iterate designs based on feedback and project timelines.

Required profile

• Strong graphic design skills with an eye for clear, engaging visual content.
• Experience in logo design and branding to ensure a cohesive visual identity.
• Proficiency in typography, focusing on readability and hierarchy.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and work collaboratively in a diverse, remote team.
• Excellent time‑management and reliability in meeting volunteer‑based deadlines.
