Supply Chain Assistant – Logistics (Internal)

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to support logistics and supply‑chain operations for its humanitarian programmes. The role focuses on ensuring timely, transparent, and accountable delivery of goods and services while complying with DRC policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist daily logistics and supply‑chain activities, including coordination with suppliers and follow‑up on deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records in ORCERP software and offline databases for inventory, assets, and GPE items.
• Support warehouse functions: receipt, storage, issuance, stock card updates, and physical inventory verification.
• Prepare and file procurement, damage, loss, and compliance documentation.
• Update and monitor vehicle movement logs, fuel records, and fleet documentation.
• Generate regular reports on stock, assets, GPE, and deliveries for the Logistics department.

Required profile

• Understanding of DRC policies, with a focus on transparency and accountability.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with programme teams and external suppliers.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ORCERP logistics software.
